Anshuman Chanda Director Legal of Dentsu International India: New Delhi, India – Dentsu International India has announced the appointment of Anshuman Chanda as its new Director Legal. Chanda, who previously served as Senior Legal Counsel for Dentsu’s South Asia region, steps into this elevated role bringing a decade of diverse in-house legal experience.
A distinguished alumnus of ILS Law College, Pune (2010), Chanda further honed his expertise by earning an LLM in Taxation and Intellectual Property from King’s College London in 2012.
Throughout his career, Chanda has accumulated extensive experience as an in-house counsel, having contributed his legal acumen to prominent organizations such as Saregama India, PwC SDC, Bajaj Electricals, and CarDekho. His broad background in various sectors will be a significant asset to Dentsu International India.
In his new capacity as Director Legal, Anshuman Chanda will be responsible for a wide array of critical functions. His mandate includes managing risks associated with the legal function, leading the legal team, and serving as a key interface with business and management on complex legal issues.
These issues span emerging areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI), intellectual property, data privacy, as well as traditional contractual matters, disputes, and employment-related legal challenges. His appointment underscores Dentsu International India‘s commitment to strengthening its legal framework in a rapidly evolving business and technological landscape.
