Ravi Shandilya Joins as Legal Head of GMR Energy: New Delhi, India – GMR Energy has announced the appointment of Ravi Shandilya as its new Head Legal. Shandilya brings a wealth of experience to his new role, with over 16 years in both leading law firms and in-house legal departments.

A 2009 graduate of Symbiosis Law School Pune, Shandilya furthered his legal education with an LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Shobhit University in 2017. He also holds an MBA degree from NMIMS, Mumbai, complementing his legal acumen with business insights.

Shandilya’s extensive career has seen him develop core expertise in Energy Laws, Commercial Disputes, Litigation, and Dispute Resolution. He has held significant leadership positions within prominent energy sector companies, including Reliance Infrastructure Limited, Adani Green Energy Ltd., and Hindustan Power Projects Private Limited.

In his new capacity at GMR Energy, Ravi Shandilya will be responsible for overseeing the company’s Commercial Litigations, Dispute Resolution, and regulatory affairs. Additionally, he will provide crucial legal advice on Corporate Laws and Energy Law, bolstering GMR Energy‘s legal framework. His appointment is expected to strengthen the company’s legal capabilities in a dynamic and evolving energy landscape.
